Shellac alcohol varnish 100 ml

Shellac is a natural resinous substance produced by the lac bug, a parasite of certain tropical trees (such as the Ficus religiosa or Ficus benghalensis). This resin covers the bug with a protective film that takes on the insect's color. These films, through lengthy processing, produce golden-brown flakes used for finishing and polishing furniture and other wood surfaces.

Good-quality flakes are medium-sized, light-colored, and leave a small amount of sediment when they dissolve. This material creates a shiny, velvety surface. The shellac coating emphasizes the grain of the wood, giving it an excellent appearance.

Ingredients: purified varnish, 99.9% ethyl alcohol, natural oil.

The varnish is classified as a resinous-oil substance.

Application: brush.

Touch-drying time: 12-24 hours (at 25°C and 60% relative humidity).
