This heat-resistant pigment has high light and weather resistance. Its chemical resistance surpasses all other green pigments – it is insoluble in hydrochloric, sulfuric, and nitric acids, as well as alkalis. It dissolves in aqua regia at elevated temperatures.

Produced by calcining a mixture of metatitanic acid, nickel carbonate, and pure tin dioxide at 1250°C.

Yellow-green or lime-green in color. They are solid solutions of tin and nickel oxides in titanium dioxide, sometimes with the addition of other metal oxides.
